ever since I passed by this I’ve been meaning to try it. The pictures always tempted me and today I got to take my own! I’d like to say I called the restaurant first and the guy on the phone who I assume is the owner.. his voice felt like home. Right then and there I knew I was preparing to have the best pizza I’ve ever had! I was not let down. It was beyond expectations of perfect. My fiance said it was everything he has ever wanted out of pizza, and the I tried to suggest he cater our wedding! Lol. This was just a 10 inch but we’re prepared to make this a regular spot. Another note my fiance is lactose intolerant yet his stomach did not hurt afterwards!!! Plus for me because that means we get to have pizza a lot more often! The owner was extremely nice and made sure we know how to eat the pizza correctly. The way his passion gleamed through his eyes made our day. We’ll never have pizza anywhere else.

We ordered a thin crust and a deep dish. The thin crust pizza was a little dry and not our favorite. The deep dish had a deep dish crust, but honestly, the actual pizza portion of it was pretty thin. I was expecting the deep dish to have more substance to it. The deep dish had really good flavor and was a good pizza, just not as thick as I would expect from a deep dish pizza. The actual area with the sauce and toppings was thinner than you regularly get from a normal pan pizza anywhere else. Overall the service was good. It's a little expensive so not a place we would go to all the time unless we were really just looking for this specific type of pizza.

This place has some of the best pizza I’ve had in the Houston area, and certainly the best Chicago style. One large stuffed pizza fed our whole family. They also sell pies pare baked too, which is great for freezing and cooking later. The owner is very friendly, and has always been great with service. If you live in town (as I do), this place is worth the drive.

I stopped by here for the first time today, and I was quite pleased all the way around. As another review stated, it is a one-man-show here, but the man, Charles, knows what courteous customer service is all about. He is proud of his ingredients and recipes, and he should be as he goes out of his way to make sure that he is only serving the best. This is the perfect example of your "local" restaraunt, and the kind of little gem that we all should support when we are in the area.
